Fall 2017 ROCKin’ Model Horse Extravaganza

Slippery Rock Community Center, 155 Branchton Rd, Slippery Rock, PA 16057

OPEN TO:            

Open NAMHSA – Exhibitors of all ages and experience levels. NAN cards will be awarded to 1st and 2nd places in each class.

START TIME:

Doors open at 7:45 a.m.  Registration begins at 8:00 a.m.  Judging begins at 9:00 a.m.

ENTRY FEES:     

Flat entry fee of $60.  After November 9th – add $10.  PAYMENT accepted day of show, with late fee.  Cash or check only.

TABLES: 

NAMHSA Open entries receive one full table included with entry.  Additional space may be utilized under the tables purchased, however additional tables are not available for purchase.  Space is limited, and all spots will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

CHECKS:             

Checks can be made out to SRU Western Equestrian Team.

FORMS must be postmarked by November 9th.  Late entries accepted, at additional cost.  See “ENTRY FEES” above.  NEW ENTRIES will not be accepted the day of the show.

CLASS LIMITS:  

  • Performance Division — Limit two models, per exhibitor, per class.
  • Halter Divisions (AR, OF, Collectability, Stone) — Limit three models, per exhibitor, per class.  (For example, three models may be shown in Halter OF Breyer, and three models in Halter OF Collectability Breyer/Others, for a total of 6 models per overall class.)
    *Note:  Additional models may be entered into a class at the price of $1 per model.  These fees will be paid the day of the show, and all extra model entries are subject to judges’ approval.  Up to eight models per class per exhibitor.

CONCESSIONS:

he SRU Western Equestrian Team will be providing a concession stand.  You also have the option of purchasing a $9 lunch ticket when you send in your entry form. The lunch tickets include an 8” sub from The Corner at Harlansburg sub shop. Subs only come with pre purchased meal tickets (Please see “sub order form link”). There will be no extras for sale at the show. Breakfast foods will be available in the morning.  Snacks and drinks will be available for the duration of the show.

CANCELLATION:    

Refund policy is as follows:  Three days prior to the show, no refund.  Six days prior to the show, ½ refund.  Ten days prior to the show, full refund.  Please contact the show coordinator to scratch your entry for the show.

JUDGES:               

NAMHSA Halter OF Breyer and Halter OF Collectability (Breyer/Others) will be judged simultaneously.  NAMHSA Halter OF Stone and Collectability Stone will also be judged simultaneously.  All other divisions will have one judge.  Judges will be posted as we receive confirmation.                                  *Note:  Judges’ discretion and word is final regarding all class placings.  We rely on our expert judges to judge a fair and accurate show.  Please respect their decisions and positions.

**Note:  Judges will only be recording the 1st and 2nd place winners in each class.  Personal record keeping is advised for 3rd through 6th place winners.
